@209po domyślnie domy w USA mają dwie fazy przesunięte między sobą o 180 stopni, co daje międzyfazowo właśnie 240V.

Tak podłączają ogrzewanie, bojlery itd.

@209po @globalbus ciekawostka, że oni też mają gniazka z 240V np do kuchenek elektrycznych, ale u nich to jest napięcie międzyfazowe tak jak u nas wtyczki 380/400V tzw siła

@Deykun żeby było śmieszniej, to mają najbardziej popierdolony system wtyczek i gniazdek.
