Kazdy statek ma obliczany dla swojego ksztaltu tzw.squat czyli osiadanie. Jest to zjawisko polegajace na zwiekszeniu zanurzenia statku czyli… osiadaniu :) a skad to sie bierze to mozecie zobaczyc na tym krotkim widelo.

Efekt ten jest brany pod uwage na plytkich wodach i w kanalach, bo tam ma najwieksze znaczenie nawigacyjne. Na glebokich otwartych akwenach nie wystepuje.

UKC - under keel clearence - zapas wody pod stepka. Dla naszego statku wyglada to tak jak na zalaczonym zdjeciu.

16 knotów nie wyciągnięcie, nie ma bata.

A zjawisko jest też niebezpieczne dla małych jednostek w bezpośredniej bliskości przepływającego bydlaka, bo najpierw dostaje się falą czołową (dziobową), a potem ciągnie do burty.

@ataxbras najciekawszym przykładem tego zjawiska jest przepływanie statków wycieczkowych ze stoczni w fińskim Turku pod mostem. Rozpędzają statek do ponad 40km/h, dzięki czemu statek „zanurza” się o dodatkowe 30 cm

@bartek555 Z ciekawostek - jako, że chciałem pomóc, próbowałem właśnie znaleźć jakiś filmik o ship squat z lektorem, który nie rozbawiałby do łez. Tymczasem, ta tematyka najwyraźniej zmonopolizowana jest przez Hindusów i innych azjatów - nie znalazłem żadnego mówionego brytyjskim/amerykańskim angielskim. Za to można sobie przejrzeć paletę wymowy z całej Azji :grinning:

A większy efekt w kanale wynika z tego, że jest ograniczona przestrzeń, żeby się rozłożył gradient ciśnienia. Ten sam efekt odpowiada choćby za tendencję do zbliżania się płynącego obiektu do ścian śluz (nie pamiętam, jak się nazywa, może podpowiesz).
